A healthier breakfast toast piece, and something infinitely photogenic. As simple as it is delicious. Fresh sourdough makes good sandwiches, but to get crunch in toast you want to have a little bit of the moisture disappear.

 1 ripe pear

1 good dollop of Two Nods Almond Butter

A squeeze of maple or honey

At least one day old sourdough

Toast the bread. Let cool slightly so it doesn’t sweat underneath on the plate – no one wants a soggy bottom. While cooling, cut the pear first in half, then into slices.

First goes the Two Nods Almond Butter, then lay the pear slices on top.

Finish with a dash of maple on top for sweetness, or honey for a less intense sugar.
